Technical Trainers at Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS). The principal mandate of KENAS is to accredit and exercise oversight over organizations, both private and public, that carry out conformity assessment activities. These organizations include; testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, medical laboratories, certification bodies, and inspection and verification bodies.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE IN THE FOLLOWING ACCREDITATION SCHEMES
- Testing ISO/IEC 17025
- Inspection ISO/IEC 17020
- Calibration ISO/IEC 17025
- Medical Testing ISO 15189
- Veterinary Testing ISO/IEC 17025 & OIE
- Proficiency Testing ISO/IEC 17043
- Management System Certification ISO/IEC 17021-1
- Validation and Verification ISO/IEC 17029
- Product Certification ISO/IEC 17065
- Certification of Persons ISO/IEC 17024
- Biotechnology – Biobanking ISO 20387
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field with at least 5 years experience OR Diploma in a related technical field with at least 7 years of experience in the appropriate conformity assessment standard
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- Proficiency in English and Swahili.
- Basic computer skills.
- A TOT Course lasting not less than 1 week is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated previous experience as a trainer, industrial training specialist or related position.
- Ability to take assignments within short notice
