Videographer/Photographer Internship at Cytonn Investment. Our client Sharp Daily is seeking to recruit for the below position.The client is an online news platform offering the latest news in business, real estate, education, careers, investments, tech and entrepreneurship. The online news platform aims at promoting discussions in business, careers, and especially entrepreneurship in an informal digital setting so that entrepreneurs can learn from each other and hopefully influence public policy to make it easier to do business in Kenya.

Our client Sharp Daily is looking for a talented creative to join our team. The candidate will be trained on conceptualizing, developing, and executing multimedia production for digital marketing, working in tandem with our creative and Digital Marketing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take the brief to understand specifications and work closely with the Design and Marketing team to develop concepts

Capture and process images and videos until you achieve desired results
Constantly improve image and video quality using various post-production methods
Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)

Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background to adhere to specifications
Direct shooting subjects
Archive photographic images and maintain the database

Maintain an in-depth understanding of photography and videography best practices and procedures
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

Strong videography and/or photography skills

Strong in Adobe Creative Suite skills, with an eagerness to learn new tools
A strong understanding of creative storytelling
Education background in multimedia production, photography, videography, visual communication design, or other related fields

Familiarity with digital marketing
Ability to work with the design and communications teams to understand marketing requirements and capabilities as they relate to Creative production
Passion for current communication design trends and technologies and a desire to communicate this knowledge across the team
