Job Summary:
Sheth Naturals is looking for a creative, strategic, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to manage and grow the digital presence of our flagship brands, Mizizi and Sheba. The Social Media Manager at Sheth Naturals is passionate about natural beauty, hair, and skincare, and has a strong understanding of social media storytelling, community engagement, and content planning.
You will play a key role in shaping how our brands show up online, visually, emotionally, and culturally, while also supporting digital growth on major e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars for Mizizi and Sheba, aligning with campaign objectives, product launches, and key awareness days.
- Publishing & Engagement:
- Post daily across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) and ensure prompt, friendly engagement with followers (comments, DMs, mentions, stories).
- Community Management:
- Build brand love by nurturing an authentic and active community of followers, stylists, creators, and fans.
- Marketplace Growth:
- Support and grow brand visibility and sales on platforms like JUMIA, Kilimall, Shop Zetu, and MyDawa by curating engaging product listings, running campaigns, and following up on customer reviews and queries.
- Event Coverage:
- Represent Sheth Naturals at events, pop-ups, and exhibitions, documenting the experience through photos and videos for real-time content sharing and post-event recap.
- Trend Spotting & Implementation:
- Monitor trends in beauty, natural haircare, and skincare to create relevant and timely content and adapt viral formats that suit our brand voice.
- Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute social media campaigns including giveaways, UGC drives, influencer partnerships, and product launches.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor KPIs (reach, engagement, growth, conversions) and generate weekly and monthly performance reports to inform improvements.
- Content Coordination:
- Work with photographers, graphic designers, and video editors to produce high-quality, platform-optimized assets.
- Influencer Liaison:
- Assist in scouting and coordinating collaborations with relevant content creators and micro-influencers to build social proof.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of proven experience managing social media for a brand (beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brand preferred).
- Strong understanding of Google Merchant, Google Business, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Tools, and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite)
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations and online marketplaces like JUMIA, Kilimall, Shop Zetu, and MyDawa.
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
- Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus.
- Demonstrated creativity with a pulse on social trends and platform best practices.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Passion for natural beauty and wellness is a major plus!
Bonus Attributes:
- Experience with influencer/UGC campaign management.
- Background in photography or video editing.
- Ability to ideate and execute Reels or TikTok-first content.
- Understanding of e-commerce and driving social traffic to product pages.
