As a Van Sales Representative at DP World, you will be a vital part of our sales team, responsible for promoting and selling our products/services to prospective clients. Your ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and achieve sales targets will be pivotal to our company’s growth and success.
Key Performance Areas:
- Drive a company-owned van to assigned territories, routes, or customer locations to conduct sales visits and deliveries.
- Load and unload products from the van, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods, reconcile the stocks and cash
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, addressing their needs and preferences to drive sales.
- Present and demonstrate products or services to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing information.
- Take orders from customers, process sales transactions, and issue receipts and collect payment
- Cross-sell or upsell additional products or services to customers to increase order value and meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges in the sales territory.
- Resolve customer complaints, issues, or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow safety protocols and driving regulations while operating the company van, ensuring safe transportation of products and personnel.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales and customer interactions.
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma in sales and marketing or equivalent in any related field.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 2yrs experience in sales, preferably in a direct sales or van sales role and Merchandising.
