Creative Designer/Promo Producer

We are a fast-growing betting site in Kenya, committed to providing innovative gaming experiences to our customers. We are looking for a creative designer/promo producer with the ability to conceive, write, produce, and edit creative and compelling promos that generate viewer interest and user satisfaction. This role is instrumental in shaping our brand identity, creating engaging promotional content, and enhancing our online presence through creative design and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative concepts for promotional campaigns, advertisements, and marketing materials that align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
- To design visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and animations for various digital platforms, including social media, website, linear media, and mobile app.
- Produce high-quality video content, including promotional videos, motion graphics, and animated ads, from concept development to final editing and delivery using footage from diverse sources
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas, storyboard concepts, and strategize on effective visual communication strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design, videography, and motion graphics to continuously enhance the brand’s creative output.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all promotional materials and campaigns.
- Conceptualize, produce, and shoot brand events and activities.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills, motion graphics, and video production abilities.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Academic and professional experience
- University Graduate – Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Film Production, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a graphic designer, promo producer, or videographer, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proficient in several non-linear/digital editing packages

Project Manager

Key roles & responsibilities
- Leading the planning and implementation of projects both internally and external clients
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, milestones & deliverables
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing and summarizing relevant information
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
- Record & mitigate risks / dependencies against program on-time delivery, quality &/or budget
- Developing high level and detailed project plans, assembling and coordinating project resources
- Defining project tasks and resource requirements and allocation
- Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Obtaining sponsor acceptance of project deliverables
- Assisting with internal and external communication
- Organising communication with stakeholders participating in the project
- Manage, and motivate team members and volunteers, and ensure they have a positive attitude and are accountable for their assigned work.
- Responsible of trend analysis, market research and monitoring.
- Organize and lead collaboration with the creative team and radio/TV team on project concept, and event marketing.
- Manage the project budget and overall delivery of the project
Academic and professional/work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related fields
- Experience in project managing large projects and/or a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously
- Experienced working in the gaming industry
- Possess a recognised project management qualification such as APM, PMI or Prince2
- Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC, Waterfall etc.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Essential Competences
- Successful experience in management of an activation sales team / field force.
- Strong client management, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- High sense of responsibility & a can-do attitude and uses own initiative to manage on a day-to-day basis
- You flourish working in multidisciplinary teams and with diverse groups of people and opinions
- Ability to successfully lead, and motivate an effective team of supervisors, brand ambassadors and field events teams.
- An analytical approach to researching and analyzing opportunities to increase revenue
- Excellent verbal, written and online management skills.
