This is a full-time on-site role for a Film & Broadcast Media Director located in Kenya. The Director will be responsible for media planning, media strategy, new media, digital media, and digital marketing, overseeing the creative direction of film and broadcast projects to align with the organization’s mission and vision.

Campus Chapter President

Vacancies at Beyond My Tribe (BMT)

As a Campus Chapter President, you will be the face and leader of BMT on your campus, responsible for coordinating chapter activities and representing the organization’s values and mission. You will mobilize students, lead peace and social integration initiatives, and ensure that BMT’s vision of a united Kenya is promoted effectively.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Representation:

  • Act as the primary leader and spokesperson for the BMT Campus Chapter.
  • Represent BMT in campus events, forums, and external partnerships.

Recruitment & Engagement:

  • Mobilize students and recruit active members for the chapter.
  • Organize peacebuilding activities, workshops, and events on campus to engage students in national cohesion.

Program Coordination:

  • Plan and execute BMT programs, including peace walks, leadership training, mental health awareness, and entrepreneurship workshops.
  • Liaise with the BMT national leadership team and provide regular updates on chapter progress and activities.

Collaboration & Partnership:

  • Build partnerships with student organizations, university administration, and external stakeholders to amplify chapter activities.
  • Foster collaboration with other BMT campus chapters across Kenya.

Advocacy & Campaigns:

  • Lead campaigns to promote peace, national cohesion, and inclusion, aligning with BMT’s mission and national agenda.
  • Drive youth-led initiatives that contribute to social and economic development on campus and beyond.

Qualifications:

Current University/College/TVET student in Kenya.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mobilize and inspire peers.
  • Passionate about peacebuilding, social justice, and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated involvement in student leadership, clubs, or community organizations (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented with a commitment to BMT’s mission.
