The Role
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional to lead our underwriting and insurance operations. This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
● Supervise and mentor the underwriting and claims team.
● Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.
● Ensure underwriting officers meet performance targets.
Underwriting & Claims Management
● Oversee underwriting processes to ensure risk assessments are accurate.
● Ensure compliance with KYC and AML standards.
● Lead claims processing with a focus on fast, fair resolutions.
Client Relationship & Sales Support
● Provide technical underwriting support to clients and sales teams.
● Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
● Enhance customer retention by ensuring superior service delivery.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance
● Maintain accurate records on HubSpot & Inscloud.
● Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
● Streamline processes for better productivity and service excellence.
What We Are Looking For
Education & Qualifications
● Degree in Actuarial Science, Business, or related field.
● Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) is preferred.
● Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP is a must.
Experience & Skills
● 1+ years in underwriting & insurance operations.
● Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
● Familiarity with insurance technology & CRM tools (HubSpot, Inscloud).
