Sub-county Administrator

Requirements for appointment

  • Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • Working experience of not less than ten (10) years in administration or management;
  • Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management;
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the management and supervision of the general administrative functions in the Sub-County unit;
  • Developing policies and plans;
  • Ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies, plans, and delivery of services;
  • Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service;
  • Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
  • Maintaining the Sub County public service;
  • Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under section 86.

Administration Officer II – 5 Posts

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Administration; Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning of office accommodation and layout;
  • Facilitating transport and travelling services;
  • Maintaining and updating furniture and office equipment inventory;
  • Ensuring payment of bills;
  • Facilitating movement of assets;
  • Carrying out general maintenance of buildings and furniture;
  • Collecting and collating data on developmental activities;
  • Providing input in the monitoring and evaluation of community projects;
  • Providing input in organizing public participation awareness at the local level;
  • Disseminating information to the public

Intern Accountant

Requirement for Appointment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce (Accounting or Finance Option) or CPA(K) in commerce (Accounting / Finance option) and passed part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination.
  • Passes part III of the Certified Public Accountants Examination or its approved equivalent qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • It will involve verification of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid-down rules and regulations;
  • Data capture;
  • Maintenance of primary records such as cashbooks, ledgers, vote books, and registers.
  • Preparation of simple management reports, e.g, imprest and expenditure, and returns, etc.
  • He /she will be responsible for the safe custody of government records and assets under his or her.

Intern Information & Public Communication

Requirements for Appointment

  • Be a Kenyan citizen
    Degree Holder in Mass Communications in possession of the following skills: Videographer, Writer, and Photographer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with program teams to identify communication needs and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance
  • Develop creative ways to document programmatic processes, successes, and achievements (e.g., through photos/infographics/case stories, in periodic newsletters, brochures, briefs, website, social sites, etc.)
  • Develop and update communication templates and guidelines as needed.
  • Store, sort, and maintain a database of photographs of projects and their activities.
