Inventory & Fixed Assets Support

JOB PURPOSE

  • Providing support to finance on Inventory and Fixed Assets Management

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Reconciliation of inventory cost of sales / movement – Movement of units/ Value
  • Aging of inventory – slow moving stocks and analyse stock provisions.
  • Stock take facilitation and variance reporting.
  • GIT reconciliation including transfers to branches/ warehouses / suspense accounts
  • Inventory GL to Submodule Reconciliation
  • Preparation of Monthly fixed asset movement schedules
  • Reports on Capex / PPE movements
  • Capex Management – Additions /disposals
  • Fixed Asset count / verification as per plan including Coolers
  • Asset register maintenance
  • Fixed Asset GL to Submodule reconciliation

MININIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA
  • Practical experience in use of MS packages
  • Experience in Finance function in a FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge in ERP, added advantage

Commercial Support Executive – Reliever

Job Purpose

  • The job holder is responsible for managing all administrative support activities within the commercial function as well as day to day management of the Merchandising store.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Management of the Marketing Merchandising store which involves coordinating the receipt of materials as per approved specifications &quality guidelines which also includes the monthly stock take.
  • Manages the coordination of dispatch of merchandise materials internally and externally to the Sales depots in line with cycle instructions developed by the Marketing Operations managers. Ensures regions provide GRN copies once goods are received in various markets.
  • Ensuring that the Marketing Merchandising store stock management is effectively and efficiently managed at all times.
  • Process the commercial requisitions/ LPOs via the Syspro system.
  • Ensure that all invoices and GRNd and uploaded on TrailD system for submission to Finance department.
  • Support the Marketing Brand team with the engagement of suppliers forquotes and in the execution of internal IRO and LPO process to facilitate purchases within the function.
  • Liaise with the relevant service providers such as Agencies in implementation of marketing activities e.g. product launches, designing of branded materials, planning media activities.
  • Manages correspondence and routes documents to appropriate offices and managers and prepares documents, spreadsheets and inter-office correspondence.
  • Interacts with clients and all levels of staff, helps resolve complex inquiries and issues from both clients and staff.
  • Provide support in the preparation and dispatch of sales proposals, presentations, charts, tables, memoranda and letters in the division.
  • Manage the divisional claims/ imprests and prepare and submit monthly reconciliation reports to finance.
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itinerary for senior level executives in the department.
  • Manage & updates direct customer/key distributor database.
  • Co-custodian with Market information Executive, database of commercial database on server.
  • Event Management of all Commercial meetings and conferences.
