NITA Kenya and Solar Mtaani Invite Applications for Fully Sponsored Solar Energy Training for Women

The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), in partnership with Solar Mtaani, is pleased to invite applications from qualified women in Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale Counties for a Fully Sponsored Solar Energy Training for Women at NITA Kenya and Solar Mtaani Programme

The two-week training, to be conducted at the NITA Mombasa Training Centre, will equip 30 women with practical competencies in solar photovoltaic installation and maintenance. Eligible applicants should possess a background in Electrical Wireman Grade II or III.

In addition to the training, successful participants will receive sponsorship to undertake the August Trade Test (TT) assessment and certification, enhancing their employability and career prospects within the renewable energy sector.

This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting gender inclusion, green skills development, and increased participation of women in emerging industries.
