Team Leader – Activations at Red Giant Media Agency

Red Giant Media Agency is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Team Leader – Activations to manage and execute Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing activations across Kenya. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of supervising activation teams, managing logistics efficiently, and driving successful campaigns in various regions. This role requires a strong network, including contacts within city councils and a list of capable Brand Ambassadors (BAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activation Management: Plan, execute, and oversee BTL marketing activations across Kenya, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of at least 10 individuals, ensuring that all team members are motivated, productive, and aligned with the project goals.
  • Logistical Coordination: Coordinate all logistical aspects of activations, including venue setup, permits, transportation, and on-the-ground execution, leveraging established contacts within city councils across Kenya.
  • Brand Ambassador Coordination: Recruit, manage, and deploy a list of capable Brand Ambassadors (BAs) to various activations, ensuring they are well-trained and represent the brand effectively.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between Red Giant Media Agency and clients during activations, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed reports on activation performance, including metrics on reach, engagement, and overall success, with recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the BTL marketing industry, specifically in activation roles. Must have experience supervising a minimum of 10 people.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Kenyan market, with the ability to execute activations in various regions across the country.
  • Contacts: Must have established contacts within city councils for efficient logistical handling and access to a network of capable Brand Ambassadors.
  • Agency Experience: Previous experience working with a reputable BTL or marketing agency is preferred.
  • References: References are preferred but not required for this ro.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and logistical coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activations simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on the ground.
