Procurement Intern at Tushop

Reports to: Senior Procurement Associate

The Procurement Intern at Tushop will hold a key role in supporting the procurement department’s day-to-day functions. The intern will gain practical experience by helping to source products and services, assisting with supplier & vendor relationships management, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

The role involves working closely with different departments to meet their procurement needs while developing skills in market research, problem-solving, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Support routine sourcing and purchasing based on price, quality, and delivery lead times.
Aid in preparing purchase orders and tracking order deliveries.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, distributors, and product market trends.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including product catalogs, price lists, and invoices.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement expectations and requirements.
Assist in resolving issues with inbound orders, such as delays, discrepancies, and other vendor concerns.
Support vendor & supplier relationship management.
Monitor and update procurement databases and systems as assigned.
Assist in preparing procurement reports and analyses.

The profile we’re likely to hire:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
