Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties will include:
- Overseeing, reviewing and developing of comprehensive public affairs and communications strategies;

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Served in the grade of Assistant Director – Public Communications/Media Relation Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years
- Master Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Communication Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or overall work experience of 15 years 10 of which must be in the same field.
- Certificate in leadership course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution
- Registration with relevant professional body with membership of good standing

Specific duties will include:
- Formulation, implementation and interpretation of Records Management Policies and procedures;
- Overseeing the implementation of the records management policies and manuals;

Duties and responsibilities
This position is responsible to the Chief Sergeant at Arms and duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Security screening for persons entering the precincts, chamber and the gallery;
- Maintaining safety and proper housekeeping in the chamber;
- Safe custody of the mace;
- Implementing Fire Prevention and other Safety Measures at the County Assembly precincts;
- Routine inspection of the fire equipment;
