Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Attendant. This role is critical in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients, and it includes responsibilities that require a valid driver’s license for patient transfers using hospital vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Patient care assistance:

Assist patients with daily activities, including feeding, grooming, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and respect.
Monitor and report changes in patients’ behavior or condition to nursing staff.

Transportation of Patients:

Safely transport patients to appointments, therapy sessions, or other facilities using hospital vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.

Bed Making and room maintenance:

Prepare and maintain patient beds and living areas to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed.

Support during therapeutic activities and out of the hospital procedures:

Accompany patients to recreational or therapeutic activities and out of the hospital procedures, providing support and supervision.

Patient observation & safety monitoring

Prevent unauthorized leave (elopement/absconding).
Intervene to reduce risks of self-harm or harm to others.
Document unusual behaviors or safety concerns for the clinical team.
Assist in restraining patients when necessary, following proper guidelines.

Documentation:

Record patient interactions, vital signs, and incidents accurately and promptly.

Key Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2 years’ experience in a psychiatric hospital setting.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Laundry Attendant (Driver’s License Required)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling laundry operations efficiently while also supporting delivery and collection services. A valid driving license is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to company standards
Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatment
Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages
Pick up and deliver laundry items to and from clients or designated locations
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely service
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid driver’s license (mandatory) with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a laundry attendant or in a similar role is an advantage
Ability to operate laundry machinery and handle cleaning chemicals safely
Good time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads when necessary
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic record-keeping ability
Previous experience in hospitality, dry cleaning, or laundry services
Familiarity with fabric care and stain removal techniques

Working Conditions

May require standing for extended periods
Involves handling detergents and cleaning agents
Combination of indoor laundry work and outdoor driving duties
