Employee Relations Consultant at CCI Global
The purpose of Employee Relations Consultant at CCI Global is to promote positive employee relations, address workplace issues, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies & procedures.
Responsibilities
- Chair disciplinary hearings and grievance sessions for all staff levels up to Operations Manager (OM) level and Business Enablement Function (BEF) equivalent.
- Facilitate incapacity cases due to ill health for all levels up to OM level and BEF equivalent.
- Address incapacity cases related to poor work performance for all levels up to OM level and BEF equivalent.
- Conduct grievance hearings for all levels up to OM level and BEF equivalent.
- Facilitate appeal hearings for staff at all levels up to OM level and BEF equivalent.
- Provide advisory support on Employee Relations processes to all stakeholders.
- Analyze and ensure proper application of Employee Relations processes across the organization.
- Analyze trends and metrics related to ER escalations, developing and implementing solutions in campaigns/functions for Away Without Official Leave (AWOL), long-term illness, absenteeism, and suspension to enhance financial efficiency.
- Manage relationships between employees and managers through ongoing interactions.
- Promote and maintain positive Employee-Employer relationships.
- Ensure adherence to both substantive and procedural fairness in all proceedings.
- Identify risk areas in Employee Relations and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Represent the Company at the Industrial Court and in arbitration hearings.
- Prepare for arbitration hearings by supporting documentation and witness attendance.
- Review and update Human Capital policies and Employee Relations processes, communicating key challenges identified through analyses.

- Industrial Relations Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Industrial Relations in Kenya.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in employee relations or human resources consulting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
