Accounts Clerk at Outspan Hospital

The Accounts Clerk at Outspan Hospital is responsible for carrying out day-to-day accounting transactions in supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, verifying receipts and deposits and producing relevant reports as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipting and posting of payments.
  • Settlement of insurance claims.
  • Settlement of patients invoices.
  • Handing over of generated claims and bank/credit slips.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • CPA Part II.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hospital setup.
  • Knowledge of Accounting/Finance.
  • Proficiency with accounting software.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High levels of integrity, empathy, and a patient-centred approach to care.
