We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The Accountant at Aminika Manpower Ltd will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Prepare journal entries for various transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.

Taxation:

  • Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE).
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

Internal Controls:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Other Duties:

  • Assist with audits and other financial reviews.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must have: CPA Level 4 or higher.
  • Preferred: ACCA midway or completed.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).

Added Advantage:

  • Fluency in Gujarati.
