UI/UX Designer at Flux
We are looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer at Flux, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces and experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring user-centered design solutions to life, ensuring that our digital products are not only functional but also delightful to use.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
- Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to inform and iterate on design solutions.
- Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, easy to use, and consistent with our brand identity.
- Develop user flows, journey maps, and personas to guide the design process and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and maintain design quality throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve our products.
- Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate on solutions to design challenges.
- Maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
- Experience with usability testing, user research, and data-driven design decisions.
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistent design language across products.
- Experience in branding and graphic design is a plus.
