The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related.
At least 3 years of experience in Planning, procurement, and Supplies functions
High level of Integrity & Confidentiality
A high level of concentration and accuracy is paramount
Experience with ERP systems.
Knowledge of global sourcing.
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing in a similar industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Packaging Materials Experience related to Tea value addition packing in FMCG, Including Primary Materials i.e., Inner cartons, Flexibles, and laminates, Secondary and tertiary materials.
Exposure to Food Safety Certifications and their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure ROLs for the materials are closely monitored to avoid an out-of-stock scenario.
Stringent follow-up of ALL incoming materials from both imports and local suppliers.
Collaborate with planning/production departments to understand procurement needs
Maintain a supplier database and ensure compliance with contracts/prices.
Reviewing and processing planning on a weekly basis.
Collaborating with internal teams & suppliers to ensure project success.
Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations.
Managing and maintaining planning records and documentation.
Offering professional advice on planning and development issues to managements.
Lead end-to-end procurement operations for packaging materials.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors, particularly for tea and packaging-related materials.
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and potential supply risks, ensuring continuous availability of materials.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement aligned with operational needs.
Establish KPIs for procurement activities and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
Knowledge of packaging materials( inner cartons, Flexibles, and laminates) to be an added advantage.
