Location: Artcaffé | Experience: 1-2yrs

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and marketing, to brainstorm and create packaging prototypes that captivate and engage.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with stakeholders or end-users to ensure that packaging effectively conveys the intended message.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay on top of consumer trends to incorporate the best elements into your design, ensuring our products stand out on the shelves.
  • Prototype Development: Design and refine packaging prototypes, presenting your ideas to the team, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Analyze existing packaging to develop new, cost- effective solutions that reduce production costs without sacrificing quality or appeal.

Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design Expertise: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and 3D modeling programs like SketchUp.
  • Attention to Detail: Extremely creative with a meticulous approach to design.
  • Material Knowledge: Understanding of various packaging materials and their cost implications.
  • Time Management: Organized and capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate with teams and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, such as food packaging standards.
  • Innovation: A knack for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Research Savvy: Ability to conduct research to understand consumer motivations and apply findings to packaging design.
  • Marketing Insight: Good understanding of marketing principles and brand development.

Bonus Skills:

  • Cost Analysis: Ability to evaluate the cost per unit of packaging materials and suggest more cost-effective solutions.
  • Photography: Basic photography skills to create high-quality package images.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a packaging company is a plus.
