The Ideal candidate must have extensive experience in transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license with hazardous materials, a strong track record of timely deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
This is full time role with the ideal candidate coming from Kenya.
Profile Summary:
A highly skilled LPG Driver with extensive experience in transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Possesses a valid commercial driver’s license with hazardous materials, a strong track record of timely deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, emergency response protocols, and proper handling procedures for hazardous materials.
- Vehicle Operation: Proficient in driving and operating LPG tanker vehicles while ensuring maintenance and routine inspections.
- Documentation: Experienced in managing and recording delivery logs, inspection reports, and compliance paperwork.
- Problem-solving: Quick and effective decision-making in high-pressure situations to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills for maintaining positive relationships with clients and coordinating with logistics teams.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Defensive driving and route optimization.
- Strong knowledge of LPG transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Secondary school certification along with defensive driving training is an added advantage
- Proven track record of 4-5 years in LPG transportation.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with the necessary endorsements for LPG transport.
- Proven experience as an LPG or hazardous materials driver.
- Strong understanding of LPG handling and transportation safety procedures.
