Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, and is seeking to recruit a Payables Accountant to join our finance team.
The role is essential in ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate processing of payments for all
supplier invoices, contractor bills, and other financial obligations. This position plays a key role
in maintaining the hospital’s financial integrity by enforcing internal controls and supporting
accurate financial reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or CPA (K) qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization.
- Proficient in accounting software.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
- Proficient in matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and resolve payment queries professionally.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet payment deadlines.
- Strong understanding of compliance, tax guidelines, and audit requirements.

Medical Officer In Charge

We looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer In Charge to join our leadership team. If you have over 5 years of post-internship experience, strong clinical leadership skills, and a passion for excellence in patient care, this could be your next big step.
Medical Degree (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution. Additional qualifications in healthcare management or clinical leadership are an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years post-internship experience, three of which must be in a leadership role in a facility of similar size.
SKILLS:
- Proven ability to lead and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams.
- Competency in strategic planning and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
LICENSING:
- Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) with a valid practicing license.

Valley Hospital is seeking to recruit a Revenue Accountant to support the Finance team in ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of the hospital’s revenue.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- CPA qualification (minimum Section 4).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a medium to a large organization.
- Proficient in accounting software and hospital management systems.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong ability to accurately record and reconcile revenue streams across multiple service points.
- Proficient in preparing income reports, variance analysis, and supporting audit and compliance processes.
- High level of accuracy in reviewing receipts, reports, and reconciliations.
- Ethical handling of financial data with strict adherence to confidentiality and internal controls.
- Strong supervision skills to effectively manage cashier teams and oversee front office collections.
