Healthcare Interns at The Ministry of Health – Kenya(MoH) – 2026/2027 Cohort
The Ministry of Health (MoH) is the government body whose key mandate is to build a progressive, responsive and sustainable healthcare system for accelerated attainment of the highest standard of health to all Kenyans as enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya 2010. KSh 9.316 Billion allocated for internship training and deployment of Healthcare Interns at The Ministry of Health – Kenya(MoH) – 2026/2027 Cohort. The interns will be deployed to accredited internship centres across the country for supervised clinical training while supporting healthcare service delivery.

- BSc Nursing Officer Interns – 2,424

Interns at The Ministry of Health
- The Ministry of Health wishes to inform Healthcare Professional Pre-Interns stakeholders, and the general public that preparations for the deployment of the 2026/2027 Internship Cohort have been finalized.
- In line with the Ministry’s mandate to ensure the availability of a skilled and competent health workforce, this internship programme is a critical step in equipping pre-interns with the hands-on experience necessary to deliver quality and responsive healthcare services to the people of Kenya.
- The Ministry is pleased to announce that a total of 6360 interns will be posted across various healthcare facilities in the Country, to commence their 12-month Internship Programme effective 1″ July 2026.
How to Apply for Healthcare Interns at The Ministry of Health – Kenya(MoH) – 2026/2027 Cohort
All eligible pre-interns are required to collect their internship offer letters in person on Monday, 29th June, 2026, at the Ministry of Health Headquarters, Afya House, Nairobi from 9.00 a.m.
Please note that the offer letters will only be issued upon presentation of a valid National Identity Card.
