Location: Kiambu County (Kikuyu, Kabete, and surrounding areas)

Job Purpose:

Our client, a leading Internet Service Provider in Kiambu County, is seeking a Technician to join their growing team. If you have experience in fiber installation, a knack for troubleshooting, and enjoy working directly with clients, this could be your next big move. Field Technician at Metrics Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain routers, modems, and fiber optic connections for clients.
• Diagnose and resolve internet connectivity issues efficiently.
• Provide timely and professional technical support to customers.
• Report technical concerns to the Technical Operations Manager.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Stay current with the latest trends in internet and networking technology.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Telecommunications, IT, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in fiber installation.
• Strong networking knowledge (IP addressing, routing, and subnetting).
• A valid driver’s license — motorbike experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Residing in or near Kikuyu or Kabete is highly preferred.
