Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Craftsman located in Turkana County, Kenya. The Craftsman will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on electrical distribution systems. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting electrical systems, identifying issues, and carrying out necessary repairs and installations. The Craftsman will also be required to document work performed and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety standards
- Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow technical manuals and diagrams
- Relevant vocational training or certification in electrical work
- Experience in the energy sector or a similar industry is a plus
