- A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a lecturer or equivalent; at least twenty-four (24) of them from refereed scholarly journals;

- At least three (3) years experience as Assistant Transport Officer grade 7/8.

Mechanic I-Transport
Requirements for the position of Mechanic I Grade 5/6
- Have at least KCSE level of education or equivalent.
- Have a clean valid driving license classes ABCE and PSV. Have passed in Occupational Test Grade II.
- Have passed Government Trade Test II(Moto vehicle/Mechanic/Electrical).
- Have a certificate in First Aid.
- Have at least five (5) years satisfactory previous driving mechanic/electrician experience at Grade 3/4.
- Certificate of good conduct.

Driver II-Transport
