Job Purpose
To ensure accurate stock management at the branch by overseeing inventory movements, reconciling stock variances, and maintaining financial controls to minimize losses and optimize profitability. Stock Controller at Big Square Kenya
Responsibilities
- Cash Management – Daily reconciliations, banking, and spot-checks on branch floats.
- Inventory Control – Receive, issue, and count stock; ensure FIFO; update bin cards.
- Stock Reporting – Investigate variances, update reports, and maintain GP targets.
- Compliance – Ensure price accuracy, supplier invoice checks, & stock policy adherence.
- Training – Support new stock controllers and team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
