Position Overview:

Pesira AgriFintech, a leading company in the agricultural technology sector in Kenya, is seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager. This role is pivotal in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility within the agricultural fintech space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly within the insurance, banking, or FMCG sectors, along with proven leadership skills to manage and motivate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Sales Execution: Actively engage in sales activities, achieving set targets and driving revenue through effective sales techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve targets.
  • Marketing Oversight: Oversee all marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with sales strategies and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyze competitor activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team achievements for upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on insurance, banking, or FMCG sectors.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
