We are looking for a skilled Plumber at Tsebo Facilities Solutions Kenya to join our Technical Team and contribute to our ongoing Facilities Support and Maintenance Services

Qualification

·      Certificate in plumbing from a recognized Institution, minimum Trade Test 1
·      At least three years of experience in the built environment or hospitality industry
·    Good spoken English, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills, Problem-solving skills, Time Management.
·      Ability to respond quickly to plumbing repair requests
·      The ability to use all general repair tools, read and interpret drawings
·      Physical ability to perform the assigned duties
·      Must be a self-starter, who can work independently and will take initiative. Be ready to learn more skills
·      Conversant with relevant emergency procedures.
·      Knowledge of relevant safety and security procedures.
·      Knowledge of relevant client interactive procedures

Duties and responsibilities

• Report to the Technical manager, and attend departmental meetings, take part in employee development training
• Diagnose and recommend plumbing solutions to the company and clients
• Identify plumbing materials and spares needed to execute projects
• Maintain High-quality plumbing standards in workmanship and material
• Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and basins to facilitate the continuous flow of clean water and disposal of wastewater.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems to identify appropriate processes to address the problems.
• Repair and replace broken drainage, waste line systems, and clogged drains to provide a habitable environment in our and client facilities.
• Respond to emergency calls such as pipe bursts and leaks in different facilities, and be ready to move from site to site
• Install waste and sanitary disposal systems to promote compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Attend to water pumps and plumbing equipment to ensure properly functioning
• To ensure that preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment are followed.
• Drive implementation of energy and cost-cutting measures and offer suggestions to the Technical manager on ways of improving energy saving and utility control
• Work accurately and professionally to avert repeat jobs, Ensure assignments are accurately and professionally done the first time.
• Adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule to avoid major breakdowns.
