Key responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging, and challenging Physical Education lessons across various key stages.
Lead and manage sports programmes, teams, and extracurricular activities.
Prepare and present students effectively for key assessment points in KS4 and KS5, specifically within the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) PE and BTEC PE curricula.
Contribute to the overall development of the school’s sports department and promote a culture of health and fitness.
Mentor and inspire students to achieve their full potential in sports and academic PE.

Qualifications and experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of overall teaching experience in Physical Education in an international curriculum environment.
Registered by the Teachers Service Commission
At least 3 years of proven leadership experience within a sports department or similar educational setting.
Essential experience in teaching academic CIE PE and BTEC PE.
Mandatory experience in successfully presenting students at key assessment points in KS4 and KS5.
Demonstrable understanding of curriculum development and assessment frameworks for PE.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Experience in developing and leading a whole school PE and Sports curriculum and its delivery and implementation for students across the age range of 3‐18 years, along with outstanding extracurricular provision.
