Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Operations Intern to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our food packaging, dispatch, and delivery, You will be responsible for, maintaining high food quality standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
1. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficient technical skills in tech, food preparation, packing, and dispatching. Follow accurate recipes, adhere to food safety regulations, and maintain clean standards in the kitchen.
2. Packing and Dispatching: Utilize unique skills in packing and dispatching food items, including handling takeaway orders, delivering food to different sections of the kitchen, and ensuring proper packaging for delivery or pickup.
3. Clear Communication: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, guest relations representatives, and delivery personnel. Provide clear instructions and information to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
4. Creativity and Adaptability: Demonstrate creative thinking and adaptability to meet the changing demands of the kitchen. Be willing to learn new techniques, generate innovative ideas for packaging and presentation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings.
5. Food Quality Standards: Maintain high food quality standards, ensuring all prepared food items meet the required quality and safety standards. Monitor and address any deviations or issues promptly.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Possess effective problem-solving skills to handle challenges that arise in the kitchen, minimizing their impact on operations. Proactively identify and address operational inefficiencies or customer concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Degree in hospitality, culinary arts or any related field
– Proficiency in packing and dispatching food items.
– Food safety training (HAACP, ISO, etc.) will be an added advantage.
– Excellent organizational and communication skills.
