Njuki-ini Ward Youths Demand Accountability: Frustration Grows Over Leaders’ Failure to Perform. They have expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance and service delivery of their leaders beigining from the MCA who they claim they had huge expectations on but he has failed them terribly.
Amidst of the growing revolution in the country as the youths are expressing their dissatisfaction across the nation, Njuki-ini young people have also not been left behind as they are coming out to call out their sleeping leaders.
A Need for Genuine Leadership
They have seen politicians who made promises of prosperity and progress fall short of keeping their word. Many young people believe that their concerns and views have been disregarded in favor of self-interest and political scheming. The problems that their communities continue to face— such as high unemployment, poor infrastructure, and bad governance—have only served to intensify this sentiment.
Demand Accountability
Following their recent approaches especially on social media ,the youths have regarded the MCA as one who they entrusted to uphold and represent them fully in the county assembly. However, they claim that the Mca has since securing the office gone missing.
The youths are now calling the MCA to come out and address their issues and also explain what plans he has over the ward.
“We elected you with nothing and now you want to leave our with nothing come 2027” one angry youth was heard furiously lamenting in a recent X Space dicussion held by the youths.
The youth have insisted on the MCA coming out clearly and accounting on what he has achieved in the recent 2 years.
It should be noted that the MCA arose into the local throne via a UDA ticket or rather yellow brand,but now time seems yellow and ripe for him to exit
The youths from the ward seem to be following the recent GENZ revolution in the country and now they have decided to take it upon themselves to sanitize their ward.
Its only time will tell.
