Role Description

This is a volunteer Mental Health Advocates role at Actup Africa. This is a hybrid role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with the flexibility to work from home. The role involves advocating for mental health issues, raising awareness, providing support, and promoting mental well-being within communities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy and active listening skills
• Knowledge or experience in mental health advocacy
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Experience in community engagement or volunteering
• Understanding of mental health issues in Africa
• Proficiency in local languages in Nairobi County, Kenya
