Role Description
This is a volunteer Mental Health Advocates role at Actup Africa. This is a hybrid role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with the flexibility to work from home. The role involves advocating for mental health issues, raising awareness, providing support, and promoting mental well-being within communities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and active listening skills
- Knowledge or experience in mental health advocacy
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Experience in community engagement or volunteering
- Understanding of mental health issues in Africa
- Proficiency in local languages in Nairobi County, Kenya
