Key Responsibilities

Support the teams with day-to-day tasks and media campaigns:

• Media tracking and monitoring of our client’s advertising and competitors’ activity across the various channels
• Analyse & compile reports SOV (Share of Voice) & query all missed spots with the media vendors
• Book all media campaigns with the media houses in an accurate & timely manner
• Maintain a database (accurate record) of media clippings, advertisements & reports for future reference
• Collaborate with internal teams, and work closely with the media planners to align monitoring with campaign goals

Be a dynamo part of the team

• Participate as an active and interested team member, providing support to colleagues and taking every opportunity presented to learn and develop
• Participate in brainstorms to generate media strategies and story ideas
• Bring your unique self to work and activity to add to the team’s culture

What You Bring

• General knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency in Media Monitoring Tools in the industry
• Strong communication (Verbal & Written) skills
• Good time management
• Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
• Organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Keen eye for detail and demonstration of proactivity
• Contribution to team effectiveness and culture

The Basics

• A degree in Communications (or similar) would be great
• Basic understanding of Kenya’s media landscape
• Proven proficiency to perform tasks required to a high standard
• Curious mind, eager-to-learn personality, and a can-do attitude are necessary!
