Legal Clerk at Image First

About the Role:

We are seeking a competent, technologically adept, and detail-oriented Legal Clerk at Image First to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background in law, at least one year of experience working in a law firm or a legal-related organization, and a high level of comfort working with digital tools and document systems.

This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and format legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
Maintain organised and up-to-date case files and legal records
Conduct legal research and provide concise summaries when required
Support the legal team with administrative duties, scheduling, and coordination
Liaise professionally with internal departments and external stakeholders
Assist in maintaining compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
Work within digital document and workflow systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a law firm or legal services environment
LLB or equivalent legal qualification from a recognised institution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualities:

Familiarity with corporate legal processes or compliance work
Proven ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures
Pays meticulous attention to detail and has a proactive approach to problem-solving
