DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Operation: Operate lathes and other machinery to shape materials according to specifications.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and designers to adjust designs as necessary and resolve any issues that arise during production.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
3 years minimum experience preferably working in machine shop.

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of lathe operation and machining processes.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.

Welder – 2 Posts

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Welder. The job holder will be responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding. This role involves reading technical drawings, preparing materials, performing precision welds, and inspecting finished work to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and understand fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
Carry out MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding on various metals and alloys.
Ensure welds are strong, clean, and meet project specifications.
Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and methods.
Operate machinery like grinders, saws, and torches.
Report any faults or maintenance issues.
Use appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards.
Work closely with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals.
Communicate any design or fabrication issues promptly.
Record work progress, material usage, and completed welds.
Complete job cards and reports as required.
Work on-site or in a workshop depending on project needs.
Handle different metals, weld types, and joint configurations
Performing any other related duties as may be assigned to you by the management from time to time. This also means that you may be required to work in any part of the Company.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate, diploma or equivalent (Trade test in welding & fabrication)
Vocational training or technical certification in welding (preferred)
Proficiency in various welding techniques: MIG, TIG, Arc/Stick, etc.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

Mill Maintenance Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Machinist. The Machinist analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools, applying knowledge of tool and die design and construction, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout, machining, and assembly procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output.
Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job.
Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, and identify issues.
Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures and recommends design modifications regarding the function of the part.
Sets up and operates equipment, such as lathes milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine
parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
Keep records of pertinent information for shift change and communicate all important information to your supervisor.
Regularly inspect parts using a variety of measuring equipment to maintain acceptable quality levels.
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed on equipment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers, Micrometers, Drop Gages, and Gage blocks) to take accurate measurements

Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders, etc.).
