Are you a skilled Video Editor at Kilimall interested in joining our dynamic team?

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to craft visually appealing and dynamic short videos, ranging from 15 to 60 seconds.
Content ideation: Collaborate with our creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize engaging ideas for TikTok content that aligns with clients’ brand identities and target audiences.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and viral content to incorporate relevant elements into the video edits.
Video Optimization: Understand the TikTok algorithm and optimize videos for maximum visibility, likes, shares, and comments.
Collaboration: Work closely with our content creators and social media managers to gather feedback, refine content, and improve video performance.
Adaptability: Be able to pivot quickly and adapt to changing trends and the social media landscape to maintain relevancy.
TikTok Community activity: Reply to comments and messages on TikTok, also sometimes comment on other creators’ videos about.
Manage the Main TikTok account with 300K followers (Posting & Scheduling at least 3 videos per day)

Requirements:

Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience in video editing, specifically creating content for TikTok.
Video Editing Software: Proficient in using industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
TikTok Expertise: In-depth knowledge of TikTok platform features, trends, and best practices.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to editing, ensuring the final video meets high-quality standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Time Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Portfolio: Provide a portfolio showcasing your previous work/Projects.

Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma or Equivalent
First Aid & Fire Safety Certification: Preferred due to the risk of warehouse incidents.
Knowledge of E-commerce Systems (optional): Familiarity with scanning, barcoding, and inventory flow.
Preferred: 1-2 years in e-commerce, logistics, or high-volume warehouse security.
Experience in access control, surveillance, and loss prevention is highly valued.
CCTV Monitoring: Competent in using surveillance systems for high-traffic zones.
Inventory Theft Prevention: Knowledge of common internal/external theft tactics.
Package & Vehicle Checks: Inspect outgoing parcels, staff lockers, and delivery vehicles as needed.
Incident Response: Trained to respond to alarms, disputes, and emergency situations.
Capable of standing/walking for long hours and conducting regular patrols.
Comfortable working on weekends or peak sale periods.
Physically and mentally alert in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Integrity & Trustworthiness: Handles sensitive data, valuable goods, and access control.
Attention to Detail: Spots irregularities in package handling or employee behavior.
Works well with fulfillment teams, delivery personnel, and supervisors.
