Crew Member at Java House Group – Nairobi

As part of our team, you’ll welcome guests with a smile, maintain top-notch hygiene standards, prepare and serve mouthwatering dishes, and ensure every customer leaves happy. You’ll also handle cash transactions, assist with takeaway and phone orders, and introduce guests to our latest menu items.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent verbal communication skills must be able to clearly communicate guests’ needs to Managers.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
food safety training will be a plus
Must have good menu knowledge.
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe
Keen on details
Previous experience in a QSR
In house training.
High school Certificate or equivalent
Experience on customer service
Must be prepared to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcome guests and maintain high standards of restaurant hygiene as per Company SOPs.
Quality food preparation and presentation which meets food safety requirements.
To maintain a hygiene working environment in kitchen by providing clean utensils and washrooms
Handling cash, assisting guests in take away orders and taking orders via the phone.
Always maintain a fast speed service.
Take orders from guests and Assist the guests in the processing of orders.
Suggestive selling products and introduction of new ones to guests
Channels any communication from the guests to ensure an efficient working relationship
Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
Ensure that all food is stored correctly.
