Company Driver at Aurum Consultants Ltd

Our client is looking for a dedicated Driver to transport/deliver clients orders effectively to their destinations. The ideal candidate will ensure that orders are delivered on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver goods and packages to specified destinations on time.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
Regularly inspect and maintain the company vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Schedule routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
Complete and submit any required paperwork, such as delivery receipts and trip reports.
Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and documents are up to date.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transportation.
Use safety equipment and seat belts at all times.

Skills and Attributes:

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial vehicles).
Have at least 2 years of proven experience as a truck driver
