We are currently looking to recruit a Guest Relation Officer, to work at Taita Hills & Salt Lick Wildlife Resort Ltd.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. (SOPs)
- Greet and escort guests to rooms, offering in-room check-in when needed.
- Support front desk operations, ensuring efficient service.
- Prepare guest welcome packets and ensure rooms meet personalized requests.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of public areas, including the lobby.
- Engage with guests in the lobby, gather feedback, and build relationships.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance communication and teamwork.
- Handle emergency procedures and guest complaints promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Opera system is a must.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
- Strong computer skills. (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outgoing personality with a positive, proactive attitude.
