Sales Team Leaders – Nairobi

Sales Team Leaders at Corporate Staffing

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new sales reps continuously through a recruitment strategy to achieve the set target of sales representatives.
  • Train new sales reps and continuous product review to enhance product knowledge for the sales team to ensure that they are well equipped with the product knowledge and selling skills necessary needed to deliver in their role.
  • Supervise the sales reps on daily and weekly activity on agreed sales plans to ensure they are meeting the targets on both prospects and sales.
  • Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team by accompanying them to the field and activations to maintain a highly energized and a vibrant team.
  • Identify new market streams by getting the right and suitable quotes for activation while ensuring that conversions are made to justify returns on investment.
  • Manage the attrition rate of the reps though proper and coordinated training to ensure that the desired targets of sales reps is achieved per branch.
  • Monitor execution of action plans of the sales team and supervise daily and weekly sales
  • Support marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
  • Carryout regular appraisals of the team in line with the company set performance standards and schedules.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to inform decisions.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales of logbook and vehicle financing facilities, SME loans and Agri-finance.
  • Six-twelve months of working experience in sales in the micro lending sector.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
