Procurement Officer at CIC Insurance
As a Procurement Officer at CIC Insurance you will be responsible for the execution of the supply chain best practices in vendor and contract management Supplier on-boarding, prequalification processes, vendor performance management, supply chain sustainability and stakeholder relationship management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supplier on-boarding and pre-qualification process and strategy, analyze and follow through supplier onboarding activities with the Sourcing Category teams.
- Tracking vendor performance management, provide support to business functions in managing the contract execution and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Periodically review the supply chain vendor onboarding and management plans and strategies to identify areas of improvement or transformation
- Prepare the schedules of supplier performance reviews and ensure all contracts are covered, support in developing supplier improvement plans, manage the supplier feedback process.
- Implement standards, controls, processes, or regulatory determined procedures guiding supply chain operations to ensure compliance to CIC Group supply chain policies and implementation of supply chain best practices.
- Supply Chain Sustainability: execute Integration of the CIC Group sustainability standards in supply chain business practices, support the CIC Group suppliers to integrate sustainability into their operations, sustainability training for suppliers to raise awareness, conduct supplier assessment for risk exposure through supplier self-assessment/audits and provide period sustainability reports as required
- Conduct periodic market survey to ensure contracted services are up to date.
- Sustaining Customer Excellence within the supply chain: Track and manage vendor enquiries, complaint resolution and response within set supply chain processes and procedures.
- Periodic reporting and tracking on deliveries with Vendors to ensure goods and services are offered within set standards.
- Manage and monitor Vendor BCP plans.
- Manage any other assigned duties relating to Procurement
Academic and Professional Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree Business Related/Social Sciences
- Professional – Qualifications CIPS/ CPSP Diploma
- Masters Degree – Business Administration
Experience Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a similar position
