Sales Supervisor at DP World

Sales Supervisor at DP World will oversees and coordinates the activities of sales teams to achieve sales targets and objectives. Their responsibilities include mentoring and guiding sales representatives, monitoring performance, identifying training needs, resolving issues, and implementing strategies to improve sales effectiveness.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Communicate organizational needs/goals to the Team.
  • Developing and executing Sales plan.
  • Setting and achieving sales targets.
  • Oversee employee’s performance provide guidance, identify development needs and manage the relationships.
  • Field training sales reps.
  • Coordinate and manage sales rep to consistently meet their targets.
  • Identify potential customers and drive sales lead.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
  • Hiring and training sales Reps.
  • Motivating the team.
  • Reporting on sales activities vs targets.
  • Manage the sales/merchandisers route plans to ensure effectiveness at minimum costs.
  • Formulate coverage and distribution plans to ensure all relevant stores are effectively covered at optimum costs (should be done in phases).
  • Demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.
  • Plan, manage and monitor sales initiatives to ensure customer service excellence and proper execution within appropriate timelines.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in sales and marketing or equivalent in any related field.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 5 years’ experience in Sales environment with at least 2 years of practical sales/merchandising both at Key account and Van Sales.
  • Sales forecast and pipeline management.
  • Post Sales engagement skills
  • Data analysis and Reporting
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leading and supervising
  • Working with people
  • Adhering to principles and values
  • Good IT and Excel skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication plus excellent telephonic skills
  • Excellent Negotiation and administrative skills
