Cook at Kakamega Sports Club

Kakamega Sports Club is a members’ club seeking to recruit an energetic self-driven cook at the club’s food production department.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

Diploma in Food and Beverage production and presentation from a recognized institution or a culinary discipline equivalent.
Must have previous relevant experience of at least three years in a busy kitchen doing bulk operations, buffet and ala carte food production and presentation.
Have extensive knowledge in food costing and menu planning.
Have appropriate knowledge in food and beverage stock take and controls.
Adhere to food safety standards and maintain high levels of hygiene at all times
Ability to work well under pressure and cohesively as part of a team.
Be able to undertake any other tasks delegated by the kitchen department head.
Knowledge in baking and grilling will be an added advantage
