Kikoy Mall EPZ Ltd (Athi River) is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations, strengthen internal controls, ensure statutory compliance, and deliver timely financial and management reports to support the business. In this role, you will manage month-end and year-end close, oversee payables/receivables, bank reconciliations, statutory returns, payroll processing, procurement financial controls, and inventory reconciliations, while supervising the Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations, fixed assets)
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management information reports
- Maintain accurate books in Tally and improve reporting discipline
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cashbook control
- Prepare statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, SHIF, NSSF) and support audit readiness
- Control procurement transactions, process payroll, and support inventory reconciliations/stock counts
- Supervise and guide the Accounts Assistant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- 5-7 years’ relevant finance experience (manufacturing experience required)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS and Kenyan statutory requirements VACANCY
- Experience in inventory-heavy environments preferred; EPZ/export exposure an added advantage
- Tally experience preferred
