Top of The Hill Girls Junior and Senior School, a non-profit girls boarding school located in Laikipia County along the Nyahururu–Rumuruti Road, is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and experienced Principal to lead the school as it prepares to open its doors in January 2026. This is a unique opportunity to be the founding academic leader of a transformational institution dedicated to empowering underserved yet bright young women through Competency-Based Education (CBE), holistic development, and strong Christian values. Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and overall management of academic and administrative affairs of the school.
Lead in the recruitment, mentorship, and professional growth of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Oversee the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and ensure alignment with national standards and global best practices.
Cultivate a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence, innovation, and character development.Strengthen partnerships with parents, the community, and key education stakeholders.
Promote health, wellness, entrepreneurship, and leadership programs as part of the school’s 360° development model.
Represent the school with distinction, building its reputation as one of Kenya’s leading girls’ schools.

Qualifications and Experience:

A Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
TSC registered.
At least 5–10 years of proven leadership experience in a reputable secondary school, preferably with experience in girls’ education.
Demonstrated success in managing staff, implementing curriculum, and driving school growth.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A committed Christian with values aligned to the school’s mission.
A visionary leader who can inspire, motivate, and build a culture of excellence, mentorship, and resilience.
