Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor, record, and report patients’ conditions to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in KRCHN or KECHN from a recognized institution
- Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya
- At least 3 years’ experience in nursing practice
Medical Laboratory Technologist

Mara Specialist Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory Department and support quality patient care through accurate diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests with timely results.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with ISO 15189:2012 standards.
- Uphold quality control, safety, and good laboratory practice.
- Maintain and monitor laboratory equipment.
- Support audits, research, and evaluation of new techniques.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Valid registration and license with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS); ISO 15189:2012 is an added advantage
Pharmaceutical Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Review and resolve potential risks in prescriptions before dispensing.
- Provide patient counselling to promote safe and effective medication use.
- Support procurement and timely delivery of medications across hospital units.
- Work with healthcare teams to improve quality, safety, and therapeutic outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Valid practising license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
