Interpreter at Globic Services – an interpretation and translation company based in Nairobi County, Kenya. We specialize in interpreting African dialects to help promote cultural exchange and connection with the diverse cultures of Africa.
Role Description
These are full-time hybrid roles for Interpreters at Globic Services. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation services for various African dialects. The role will involve both on-site and remote interpreting tasks, offering flexibility for work-from-home options.
Requirements
- Proficiency English and any of the following languages; Arabic, French, Somali, Kiswahili, Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya or Kinyarwanda
- Have at least a high school diploma
- Be 18 years or older
- Have at least 1 year experience in language interpretation or translation
- Be available to work at least 40 hours per week
- Have a suitable quiet and secure work-at-home environment
- Have a stable and fast internet connection
