Government of Mauritius Scholarships: Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD for 2025 Academic Year at Ministry of Education, State Department for Higher Education and Research

The Ministry is in receipt of communication for the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius informing that the Government of Mauritius offers to award fifteen (15) scholarships to deserving Kenya students in the level of Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD for 2025 academic year.

The scholarship scheme will support successful candidate in meeting their tuition fees and contributing to their living expenses during their studies in Mauritius.

Furthermore, the scholarship covers return airfare by the most economic route. This will be valid for travel from the country of origin at the beginning of the studies and back to the country of origin upon successful completion of studies.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants should meet the following conditions:

Undergraduate

  • Minimum KCSE Mean Grade of B (plain)
  • Not more than 25 years of Age
  • Have an original KCSE Certificate
  • Strong grades on the major subjects that are to the specialty preferred.
  • Completed Secondary Education in the last three (3) years

Postgraduate/ Masters and PHD

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of at least Upper Second -class honours for Masters
  • Have a Master’s degree for PhD
  • Are 35 years and below for Masters and not more than 40 years for PhD programme.
