About the PAL Network
We are seeking a Finance and Administration Manager at PAL Network who shall be responsible for the overall financial and administrative functions of the PAL Network. The person will ensure that appropriate administrative and financial, policies and procedures are developed and updated.
They will establish and implement internal controls, policies and systems to ensure that the organization’s daily operations are efficient and effective, and the activities are in line with approved strategic initiative.
They will work in accordance with the legal requirements, highest ethical standards and internationally recognized financial reporting practices (IFRS).
The Finance and Admin Manager will be:
- Responsible for the overall financial and administrative functions of the PAL Network.
- Ensure that appropriate administrative and financial policies and procedures are developed and regularly updated.
- Establish and implement internal controls, policies, and systems to support efficient and effective daily operations.
- Align organizational activities with approved strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, highest ethical standards, and internationally recognized financial reporting practices (IFRS).
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate or manage those risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration, a master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Certified member of the ICPAK.
- At least 6 years’ experience in accounting and finance with at least 4 years in a managerial position.
- Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, IFRS, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and proficiency in explaining intricate financial concepts clearly.
- Experience with Donor management and reporting.
